Tori's B-day celebration

Tonight we finally celebrated Tori's birthday. We were so busy this week that this was the first night we were all home together. I made Tori her own cake, which she couldn't wait to gobble up after dinner.
We sang to her before she blew out her candles.
Abby and Tori both enjoyed the frosting and a little bit of cake.
I got her a couple of presents. One was a cute glow in the dark Halloween shirt.
I also got her some play dough which is always a favorite at our house. This one came with some cutters so that she could do more with the play dough. What survived the night was saved for tomorrows fun.
More play dough adventure. Tori even let Abby play with her.
Happy birthday little girl.

Happy Halloween

Nothing more scary than this...

Enjoy the day!

Tori's 2 year pictures

Tori and I went to do her 2 year pictures today. I figured since I haven't gotten hardly any professional pictures of her, I would take her all by herself and do a fun photo shoot just for her.
I love Portrait Innovations since I can get several pictures as well as the disk from them for not too much so I can share them.
We of course will be sharing with Grandma's and Grandpa's as well as some of the other family members.
Here are some more of my favorites.
This was a gift for Abby when she was younger and she loved it, now Tori loves it too.

Treat or Treat for Health

We did our annual Trick or Treat for Health today. It was really crowded so we didn't stay too long. Abby got some fun time in the bouncy tent.
Abby was the green power ranger...again...

We didn't stay too long, but the girls got some good loot including their favorite toothbrush one.

Casa Bonita

I love Casa Bonita and so do the girls, but Chris isn't such a big fan of it, so I try to take them on days that he isn't going to be around as to not subject him to the bad food and sad entertainment.
Today we went and I should know better because last year I went in October and they have all the Halloween stuff up, so we had to spend our time in the arcade. Tori tried her hand at a driving game, lets just say that she will not be getting on the road anytime soon.

They also took a ride in the train. Which they though was fun.

Next time we will need to make sure not to go in October.

Happy Thanksgiving Eh!

Today was Canadian Thanksgiving, so I took the day off. Which was really funny considering that I have no Canadian blood in me.
I helped set up for our big dinner. The usually crew all came and we had a wonderful dinner.
Tomorrow Chris leaves to go to Canada for several days to visit his family and friends. The girls and I will be on our own, but I am sure it will be just fine.

The best thing a penny can buy

King Soopers has penny pony that we ride each time we are there. The girls look forward to 2 things there, the cookie and the pony ride. I can't believe that they still have the penny pony like they did when I was a kid. It brings them great joy, you can't find that kind of fun anywhere these days.
