Our trip to Colorado

After we left Navoo, we sent back home and then the next day, the girls and I headed to CO for a quick trip to visit the family. We got to go bowling one day, thanks to Aubree and her free certificates, it didn't cost us anything to go!!
It was the girls first time bowling, and I think they did really good!
Here is our little Tori, she doesn't even need help to set up her ball, she just gets it and goes

Later at Grandma's house, we had a "fashion show" with all the kids.

The next night we went to Casa Bonita, and had some wonderful (okay not really) food and the kids had a blast.

I told Tori she could have another sopapia if she would do a dance....she got her other sopapia

The next day we got to go see Janae's kids, Logan and Lila have gotten so big, they are always on the go these days. The girls liked helping them get around or get them things that they could play with, it was very cute!!

The next day we went to see the Cheatham's for some more dressing up and playing with our cousins.

While there we also got to go to Pirates Cove for one afternoon. The girls had a blast. Here Abby managed to put a straw through her chip, not sure I have ever seen that before!

We all had a lot of fun with our family and even go to see a few friends while we were there, it was well worth the trip. Thanks to Grandma for flying out to meet us, drive with us to Navoo and then come back to CO with us. We loved having you along for the trip.

Our newest cousin

We recently took a trip to Navoo and who did we meet there except our newest family member, Allie! She even brought her mom and dad with her. We also were excited to bring grandma with us because she flew in from Colorado just for the trip.
The girls loved seeing Allie and couldn't get enough of her.

It turned out not like we had planned, it rained so hard we didn't make it to the pageant, so we just hung out and talked. The next day as we drove home we passed the dairy, which is always fun to see our our travels out East.

The 4th like I have never seen it before

Last night was a 4th of July I shall never forget!! The fireworks started about 7PM and ended about 12AM. The people of the great state of Nebraska take their fireworks seriously. We couldn't believe all the "professional looking" ones that we saw! We started on our street watching people all around us sending them up. Then we moved to our back yard and stood on the swing set and watch for a long time. Every where you turned there were fireworks going off. By 10PM, there was so much haze over the city because of all the fireworks it started to become hard to see them.

I have never before seen something like this and was amazed at the whole evening!!
