Tori looks really happy here, this is where she spent most of her time (in the back pack). She loves this back pack and really likes when I carry her around this even at home. We knew we were in trouble when about 10 minutes in she said "done".
Abby also did great, she hiked almost all the way. She loves to be outside and although she started wanting to be carried, that didn't last long.
It was a little on the chilly side, so we tried to keep Tori's hat on so she wouldn't get too cold. This was part of the 10 minutes that she talked, so we had to capture it. That is Abby's hiking stick she found while we were on vacation, Tori had to have it to help her hike.
Tori and I had a break at the end of the hike. The total was 2 miles and took just over 2 hours. When you add up all the time we spent playing, petting dogs and walking backwards that is why it took so long.
After we got home, we had lunch and put the kids down for a nap. After that we went off to Cold Stone for a yummy treat. This was Abby and Tori before the sugar rush.
Here they are after the sugar got into their blood streams. Need I say more??
It was a great fun day for the family and we need to do it more.

Looks super fun! We love Memorial Day hikes! Didn't get one in this year b/c of packing, but we love 'em. Love the sugar rush pic!
