My first 5K

I did my first 5K today. Our ward held the annual "family fun run" and I decided that it wouldn't be that bad to run. I do that much everyday between running the dog and the treadmill, I have to say I underestimated just a tad. I made my goal, which was under 40 minutes with a time of 39.30. I am sure the real runners are laughing about now, but for me I think that was pretty good. Now the only way to go is up, onward and faster.

Yay for you! I'm totally impressed. Quin just did his first Triathlon yesterday and I'm too wimpy to even try a 5K. LOL I think you've inspired me, maybe I need to set that as a goal!

Way to go!

Go Brit, go!! It was surprisingly nerve racking when I did my first (and only:) ) 5k too! What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger, right?! Good job!

Congratulations! You know how I feel about running so I'm always impressed when people do it at all, let alone a race.
